AFRICA LEADERSHIP TEAM [ALT]

  • We are grateful for God’s faithful provision to the ALT. Present to our Provider the need for finances enabling them to attend ALT meetings and to visit the nations in their regions.

  • Submit now already the organizing of the Competency Development Conference II in Tanzania February next year.

  • Glorify God that everything went smooth with relocating back to South Africa. Pray for good rest and spiritual refreshment during our sabbatical months.

  • Thank Abba Father for His faithfulness in providing for this department. Intercede for enough resources to do effective training across Africa.

  • Glorify the Father for a lovely time for Sheunesu and Susan in the USA and South Africa. Please pray for safe travels for Sheunesu as he plans to visit Mozambique, South Africa, Namibia and Angola between 9- 26 November.

EAST INDIAN OCEAN ISLAND REGION

  • Adore the Lord for Cyril’s participation in GA which was beneficial in many aspects. Intercede for guidance for him in his role as RD.
  • Praise God for faithful staff and volunteers serving all over the Island Region. Trust HIM for many more workers in the Indian Ocean Islands and more open doors to reach young people.
  • Honour the Father for every opportunity we have to proclaim the Gospel on the different islands. Pray that He will protect staff, volunteers and Board members who work here.
  • Ask the Spirit to enable us to go forward with establishing a vibrant youth ministry in Rodrigues.

  • Thank the Almighty One for regional and national Prayer Coordinators. Submit them unto God for wisdom as they coordinate prayer efforts in their areas and ask for more prayer coordinators for every YFC country in Africa.

  • Glorify our Master for each member of the International Board of Trustees of YFC. Pray that He will lead the Board, pray especially for good meetings 29 Nov – 04Dec in Jamaica.

  • Praise the Lord for the piece of land that we have. Ask our Provider for the of this land into a training centre and ask for new office space.
  • Glorify God for committed staff and volunteers serving in Benin. Intercede for guidance for them and the board so that the ministry can go forward.

BOTSWANA

  • Bless the Lord for good progress with organizing the year-end ROAR camp early next month. Ask the Lord for finalizing speakers, camp programme and for provision for the camp and campers.
  • Worship the Father for 32 orphan, vulnerable and needy children attending Tapalogo Day Care Centre. Pray for that the renewal of the operating license will go smooth and that the graduation ceremony will be meaningful for graduates, guardians and partners.
  • Praise God for a productive Holiday Programme for Standard 7 students Kgatleng District this past month. Trust God for many young people to register for Youth Week 2018 and for guidance with the logistics of this camp early January.
  • Koekoes, Em and Maruping are having their sabbatical leave. Intercede for them for a good time of rest and spiritual refreshment and pray for wisdom for George in running the ministry in this time.

BURKINA FASO

Paul Kabore [Celestine] – National Director

  • Trust the Prince of Peace for peace and reconciliation in the country, pray for the protection of Christian young people against the influence and threats of extremists.
  • Bring the need for staff and volunteers to God to reach out to the youth of Burkina Faso and to bring the Gospel to many refugees of Mali.
  • We are grateful for the smooth running of the primary & secondary education institution. Intercede for staff and teachers to make a positive impact in the lives of all the learners.
  • Thank God for some board members under the leadership of Mr. Karambiri. Ask the Spirit to add committed men and women to serve here.

BURUNDI

  • Continue to entrust Burundi unto God, for enough rain this season and for our economy to pick up.

  • Exalt our Saviour that it is going well with Gitega International Academy and Homes of Hope. Intercede for guidance in the Education system, there are many challenges to overcome.
  • We are grateful for new staff who joined our ranks and for committed ‘old’ ones. Ask God for wisdom for them as well as our board members in their daily tasks with YFC Burundi.
  • Bless the spirit for sending more women who attend the Operation Hannah prayer meetings. Pray that these women will keep on being faithful in bringing the youth to the Throne of Grace.

CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC [CAR]

  • Praise Jesus for Benin’s willingness to pioneer CAR. Pray for open doors for youth ministry.
  • Praise Jesus for a few local volunteers. Entrust Prince Banibe & Princia Demba, Benjamin Batto and Francis Soukamkian to God for wisdom, strength and good health to continue with prayer  triplets and mobilization  of other volunteers.
  • Continue to pray for political stability and that reconciliation will take place after the civil war.

NATION C.

  • Praise Jesus for Madagascar’s willingness to pioneer Nation C. Entrust the pioneering and ministry development process into God’s hands.

  • Appreciate the Almighty One for new staff, volunteers & Board members. Ask the Lord for a fruitful crusade and seminar in Kono and that the evangelistic activities in Blama will bring many souls into the Kingdom.

  • We are grateful for every opportunity we have to spread the Gospel in Sierra Leone. Stand with us in prayer for the recruitment of new students for the G21 vocational training – the right people to apply.

SOUTH SUDAN

TANZANIA

ZAMBIA

  • Praise our King for granting us a lovely opportunity during the national Day of Fasting, Prayer and Reconciliation last month. Commit the upcoming ministry visits to Lusaka and Livingstone unto the Lord first week of November.
  • Exalt Jesus for a fruitful month of ministry. Bring our year-end functions unto Him for success.
  • Thank the Father for the regularization of the registrations status of YFC with the Zambian Societies of Rules. Pray for the young people who begin writing their national exam this month.
  • Glorify the Father for committed Staff, volunteers and Board members. Intercede for them for guidance in their daily tasks.

  • Submit our nation to the Father during trying times with the economy.
  • Thank the Lord for the youth we’ve reached in October through different youth ministry opportunities. Pray for provision for those attending Youth Week 2018.
  • Glory to God for Sheunesu and Susan’s fruitful visits tot eh USA and SA last month. Intercede for more committed staff and volunteers with the passion for the lost youth of our nation.
  • Praise Jesus for faithful staff, volunteers and Board members serving in obedience in YFC Zim. Ask God for guidance and provision for Chinoyi, Vic Falls and Bulawayo Centres.
  • We are grateful for the Father’s provision to our ministry. Trust Him for protection for Willowpark campsite against bush fires and that even more people and groups will make use of this facility in spite of economic challenges
