Thailand Flood Relief

Thailand Flood Relief

with the water level as high as 10 feet in certain parts of the nation. It has claimed the lives of over 300 people within the region so far, and made hundreds of thousands of people homeless, Thailand is currently beyond crisis point.

The staff of Youth for Christ are focusing their energies on rescuing people who are trapped and providing survival kits to affected families. These efforts are targeting the Ayutthaya area, which has faced the greatest damage to date.

Much of the Ayutthaya community is neck deep in water, some places are completely submerged at the time of writing. Homelessness, unemployment and disease will be the lasting mark of the floods once the water subsides.

How You Can help?

  1. Give – Your donation will provide survival packs that contains bottled water, rice, canned fish, instant noodles, milk and medication.
  2. Send a team – In a few months from now, the floods will have disappeared but the damage to the communities that remain will be considerable. Teams of people to help rebuild what is left behind in many rural areas will be essential.
  3. Pray – for the families affected, for the staff and volunteers providing help, for God to be glorified in the efforts, for the coming months as teams begin to rebuild.
